Research shows that taking artichoke extract by mouth can slightly reduce total and low-density lipoprotein (LDL or “bad”) cholesterol in people with high cholesterol. Improvements seem to occur after 6 to 12 weeks of treatment. Studies using cynarin, a specific chemical found in artichoke, have shown conflicting results. Drinking artichoke juice does not seem to lower cholesterol levels. In fact, artichoke juice might increase levels of blood fats called triglycerides.

Golden Onions

Onion

Quality Standard: Quality meets the international standard and EU standard class 1

Garlic

Commodity name: Normal White Garlic (Regular white garlic or Hybrid garlic)
Feature: Strongly spicy, milky white flesh, naturally bright color, no burnt, no mould, no broken, no dirt skins, no mechanical damaged, 1-1.5 cm stem length, roots cleanness.
Size: 4.5-5.0 cm, 5.0-5.5 cm, 5.5-6.0 cm, 6.0-6.5 cm, 6.5 cm & up.
Packing: Loose packing (inner string bag): a) 10 kg / carton, b) 20 kg / carton, c) 10 kg / mesh bag & d) 20 kg / mesh bag.
Supply period: from March till July.
Transporting & storing temperature: -3 °C – +2 °C
Shelf life: stored for up to 12 months in proper conditions

Spring Onion

Color: Green leaves grading to white at the base, white bulb with some thin green striping.
Maturity: No evidence of flower formation, or brown dry husk on bulb (over mature).
Packing: 4-8 spring onion in bunch, 100 gm in one bunch, 2 kg in carton
Shelf Life: Produce must provide not less than 14 days clear shelf life from date of receives. No broken, damaged leaves affection or yellowed leaves.

Sweet Potatoes

Size: Weight ranges of between 0.5 kg to 1 kg (1.1 to 2.2 lb). Not less than 3 inches (76 mm) in diameter at the widest section.
Color: Uniformed color, typical of the variety.
Shape: Well shaped to type. Not lopsided or otherwise deformed. Tuber tapered towards the ends
